My Week Two Projcet 365

We have a lot of noxious weeds. And when I say a lot, I mean A LOT!Bindweed, thistle, and hundreds of others that I can't identify because I'm not a horticulturalist. We really should invest in Round-Up stock. It's a losing battle, but hubby continues to fight!

Have you ever wondered what the world would look like if you were a big bug?
Okay, maybe not. But if you were a big bug, your world might look something like this.

And have you ever asked, how blue is the sky over Texas on a cloudless day?

It is exactly this blue. Yeah I actually took a picture of the sky.
Have you ever seen anything more beautiful?

Wednesday I had a really hard time finding inspiration and motivation for anything, including taking pictures.
But then the sun started slipping below the horizon.
It makes you want to sigh deeply, does it not?

Meet Miss Prickles.
And say hello to Mr. Lizard. (Some call him a horny little toad.)
They meet. Their eyes lock and they are entranced. They have so much in common. With indescribable passion and lightening speed, he flicks his tiny tong and licks her--right on the mouth! (My shutter was not fast enough.)
I think these two will be changing their Faceook status very soon.

Your "the view of the world from the eye of a bug" made me laugh and remember what always think when I see a toddler walking among people... a forest of knee caps.

Beautiful sunset! We must get out in the country and take a Texas sunset picture.

Yeah LaVon, I've often thought about how the world must look to a toddler. I'm a little vertically challenged myself so I don't see the world as my husband does. Perspective is a fascinating thing.

Thanks for making me laugh. I love your perspective.

Ummm, so how much for that thatched condo? :) In worship this Sunday the pastor was talking about God taking care of our needs and mentioned that the only real needs we had were food for today, one set of clothes, and something over our head (branches). Yes he actually said branches. He was trying to make a point of showing us how blessed we are. It's good to know there's a vacancy for me here in Texas. :)

That was GREAT!!! Thanks for the comment on my blog. Again, so glad it encouraged somebody else. I was just feeling so lonely and dry yesterday. I did a BibleGateway keyword search for "lonely" and "empty" and this was what I came up with. Helped me see my need to always keep seeking Him (even when I can't feel His presence). God bless.

Edie,
You can always fluff your feathers in our nest. :)

Amanda, Thanks for visiting. Yes, we need always to seek Him. Hang in there!
