Week Three Project 365

This last week was crazy. I have no idea if I took a picture every day and I might have taken a dozen one day. Many days ran together--days and days on the road have a tendency to do that. I'll try to remember which days which pictures represent, but forgive me if I get a little confused and just enjoy my photos anyway.

Sunday we took my parents to Altus, OK to see the AF air show. I love air shows. I could become an air show groupie. The Air Force Thunderbirds put on a good performance. The airmen did a remarkable job in the pre-flight display and drill as well.
In the photo below can you see the heat off the engines?

Those birds are WAY up there and notice you are seeing the tops of the planes. That means they were flying upside down at that moment.
There were other planes there besides the Birds, but I've lost some of those pictures some how. Possibly due to a bad SD card or human error. Geezzzzzz.
There's a good look at the bird painted on the bottom of that machine of thunder!

I honestly can't remember what all I did Monday. I think I was busy packing and doing laundry, so I guess I never thought about taking any pictures. The rest of the week was pretty much a blur. We drove from Amarillo to San Antonio on Tuesday, spent Wednesday in San Antonio, and then Thursday was the day we drove from SA to Houston then all the way back to Amarillo again. Friday and Saturday we spent driving from Amarillo to Southaven, Mississippi. Buckle your seat belt and hang on...here we go!
A long journey is hard on a body and you've got to keep up your strength. Thank goodness there are DQ dipped cones just for that purpose!

Have you ever driven through the Texas Hill Country during the spring? OH MY GOODNESS! So much eye candy, and it even smells petty nice too! The wildflowers have been so pretty this year.

 Texas Bluebonnets make me smile.

Yeah, you know where this is...The River Walk, San Antonio, Texas.
to be continued...

Check the date on your pictures both on the camera and on your computer program. Then you will know what date you took what pictures. Only way I can keep up. Great photos!

Hey Diana, maybe some day we will run into each other at an air show. :) Wings over Houston was wonderful last year and I'm sure it always is. It is in October.

Becky, thanks! Why didn't I think of that?
Half the time I don't know what day it is even if I'm looking at a calendar. lol

Love the air show pics. I've only ever seen one air show before and I really enjoyed it.

I would love to have one of those dipped ice cream cones right now. :)

Have wanted to see the river walk for a long time now. Maybe someday.

Hey Edie,
I lived in Texas all my life and didn't make it to the River Walk for the first time until just a few years ago. Wouldn't it be cool if some day we could visit there together and eat ice cream while we walk? :)
Never stop dreaming girl.
