Vacation Mystery Picture Post

I'm no good at mysteries--writing them or solving them. So this is going to be easy.

To save myself a bunch of time, I'm just going to post some pictures and let you figure out where we were. (Some of my readers already know because I told them all about it.) But, for those of you who don't know all my secrets, leave your comments as to where you think we went and what my pictures are all about. I'll fill you in on any details you want to know later. Just leave your comments and enjoy my pictures! And for those of you who know the location, you can leave your comments too. :)The sign pictured below hangs over the door of the house pictured above.

Ok, I cheated but you did say that I could not do that. I looked up Tabithat Plasket and that lead me to Plymoth Rock. I did not even know that there was a place like this. I think it would be so awesome to visit that part of history and see the real stuff that we read about in history books. I hope that I am right. Have fun with your Grand babies. Cindy

Yea Cindy!!! Yes, we went to Plymouth, MA. The rock in the last picture is THE Plymouth Rock. The boat is a replica of the Mayflower. A cool place to visit.

ok,

So I have seen some of those pictures before so I guessed and then I read your comments and I knew I was right. I have never seen the "Plymouth rock" before. Somehow in my mind it was a much bigger rock...so I am disappointed in size, but the rest of the photos are just kinda what I had in my mind from what I have seen before. Looks like a fun time.

Hope you are enjoying your time with your grandbabies.

The rock used to be much bigger, but people have chipped off pieces as souvenirs so over the years it has gotten smaller and smaller. And I'm sure erosion has played a part in the downsizing since the Mayflower parked there in 1620.
